In 2010, Sugar Hill Farm embarked on the new venture of beekeeping.  Bees are a vital part of our environment and play an important role in pollinating plants.  Without their vital service our food supply would be in serious jeopardy.  With colony collapse disorder greatly affecting the bee population in recent years, the role of the small beekeeper is becoming more important.  Over the past two years we have seen our local beekeepers guild tripling in size.
